Is it a replacement for a microchip?
It works alongside one. A chip needs a vet with a scanner; the tag works for anyone standing in the street.
Is my home address shown?
Only if you want it. You choose which details are public - most owners show a phone number and the pet's medical needs.
What if my phone number changes?
